Olivia Terry

Olivia Terry is the Founder and Managing Attorney of New Horizons Legal, a firm dedicated to immigration, business, and civil rights law. She started the firm to provide clients with practical guidance, strong advocacy, and direct representation that is both accessible and personal.

Her immigration practice serves clients across the United States. By utilizing secure technology and remote capabilities, Olivia is able to represent individuals and families nationwide in matters including asylum, family-based petitions, humanitarian parole, Special Immigrant Visas, adjustment of status, travel documents, and work authorization. She is especially passionate about helping refugee families apply for adjustment of status as they take the critical step toward building permanent lives in the United States.

In addition to immigration, Olivia advises entrepreneurs, startups, and established companies on business formation, contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution. She also advocates in civil rights cases involving discrimination, unequal treatment, and violations of constitutional protections in employment, housing, and education.

Olivia’s career reflects her long-standing commitment to serving vulnerable communities. As a Staff Humanitarian Attorney at YWCA Tulsa, she represented Afghan refugees and other displaced families in humanitarian relief cases while leading Know Your Rights workshops and community education programs. Previously, she served as a criminal defense attorney at Still She Rises, where she defended mothers and caregivers in criminal proceedings and litigated constitutional rights violations. These experiences shaped her holistic, client-centered approach to the law.

Her approach is rooted in careful listening, thoughtful strategy, and strong advocacy. By combining personal attention with modern legal tools, Olivia ensures that her clients have the clarity and support they need to navigate complex legal challenges with confidence.

Olivia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she studied international law at Oxford University and engaged in international human rights projects. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with a minor in Spanish, from Oral Roberts University. She is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma.
